Update

Hi guys! It’s officially summertime which means I’m back! I’m so sorry I haven’t posted for so long but senior year just got so hectic. It was so crazy that the little time I had, I didn’t feel like doing anything but relaxing. Now that I am back though, I’ll be posting more regularly because of this return I feel like changing things up. So expect a new website design, more creative content and maybe even a new blog name…but shhhh don’t tell anyone 😉.

WHAT HAVE I BEEN WATCHINGi

Hi Everybody! How is everyone doing? I know it has been a long time since I posted on  here. I have been busy with school and life and had not time to read, so I felt like I had nothing to blog about. Thankfully, today as the first day of spring break. I saw a booktuber do this on her channel, so I decided I would also. What have you been watching? What are your favorite shows? Do you watch any of these shows and if so, what season are you on? Have any recommendations? NO SPOILERS!!!!

1-) Revenge

You know that feeling you get after you finish watching a show and you don’t know what  that was me time ten. I just finished this show last week and my goodness I LOVED IT. It’s 4 seasons long and it’s amazing. I love all the characters, but my favorite has to be Nolan Ross who is played by Gabriel Mann. My least favorite is Margo and that’s all I am going to say because I don’t want to spoil anything. It was amazing and if you haven’t watched it, OPEN UP NETFLIX AND WATCH IT NOW.

2-) Fosters

This is one of the few shows I have been watching from the beginning and it’s honestly starting to get kind of annoying. All the characters make the same mistakes and seasons are so dragged out for no reason, but I still watch the show so I had to put it on here. I watched the most recent episode yesterday and I feel like for an hour episode we get like 2 minutes of new information. It has been like this ever since season 3 started, so I don’t know if I am going to keep watching this show or not. My favorite character is probably Callie’s boyfriend. He seems like the only person who has a brain and uses it. My least favorite character is Callie, the main character. I’ll leave it at that.

3-) How to Get Away with Murder

EVERYBODY I have told to watch this has loved it. I won’t say what its about because I think it’s best if you know nothing, but if you really want to know, it’s about a professor and her interns and the crazy stuff they do to save their asses. I haven’t watched it since it came back, so NO SPOILERS. I don’t even know who killed Wes yet so.

4-) The 100

After you watch Revenge, go on your Netflix and watch the 100. It is like a Post apocalyptic Lost about teens, but in my opinion, it’s so much better. I also haven’t started watching the new season for this . Yet again, NO SPOILERS PLEASE.

5-) Walking Dead

I finally started watching this show yesterday and yes I know I am late. I only watched the first episode and so far it’s OK. I will continue on watching though because the first episode of series are always meh.Again, NO SPOILERS.

6-) Jane The Virgin

I haven’t watching this since the mid season finale and I know it’s back, so PLEASE NO SPOILERS. This show isn’t one that I really get into like the 100 or Revenge, but it’s funny and I like it. It’s about a girl that was accidentally artificially inseminated and it’s hilarious.

7-) Quantico

Yeah, you guessed it. I haven’t watched this since the mid season finale, so SPOILERS. I always wanted a show like this. The first season was amazing. I loved crime shows, but hated that it didn’t have a continuous plot and that you could watch them out of order. Many people complained that the second season was a repeat of the first expect it’s CIA instead of FBI, but I don’t mind. If you like shows that mislead you and are mysterious, you need to check this out.

I have probably forgotten some shows, but this is what I have been watching. If you guys want an update every now and then of what I am watching, then I will. Don’t forget to to tell me shows that you like so I can check them out.

ONE YEAR BLOG ANNIVERSARY

As of August 31st, I have been blogging for one year!

August 31st, 2015 was the day I opened my blog up and it was one of the best decisions I have made in my life. I was a little hesitant at first because I was afraid of what people would think. I’m glad I listened to my gut and went for it. Thank you for coming to my blog and reading my post, but most of all …..

THANK YOU FOR BEING MY FRIEND

Poem #1 (Waste)

So I was rummaging through some old school bags and found a notebook full of poems from fifth grade. I was going to put them in the attic, but decided to publish them on here…I know they’re horrible, but they’re from middle school. Enjoy 🙂

Waste by: Sabrina Marsi

They walk down the street

In the blazing heat

They wander around town

Trying to find something to keep down

The pigs sit on their chairs

Seeming like they don’t car

With bellies as full as balloons

Acting like buffoons

They look through trash

Trying to find some cash

They beg in the market

That they haven’t even met

The pigs laugh their heads off

They don’t stop smoking until they cough

They wait until the pigs are done

And ask for a piece of their bun

They looked at the floor

While the pigs tore

The pigs look at the clothes so grey

As they walk away

SUMMER READER BOOK TAG

Hello lovely humans! Long time no post. Sorry I haven’t been posting at all. I had no internet because of a storm that hit my city, but everything is working now. I haven’t done a book tag in a while and i felt like doing one. I wasn’t tagged in this book tag, but I saw a few people doing this tag and it looked fun.  So here is the summer book tag 🙂

Lemonade: pick a book that started off bitter but got better.

While I was reading Hopeless, I couldn’t understand why people were raving about it. It seemed like an average contemporary book. Then, halfway through the book things got real.

Golden Sun: pick a book that made you smile beyond compare.

This book is such a cliche contemporary, but I’m all about that stuff.

Tropical Flowers: pick a book set in a foreign country.

First off, if you haven’t read this book you need to. Now. You won’t regret it, I promise. It’s about  all these american high schoolers going to a boarding school in France. Just go read it.

Tree Shade: pick a book in which a mysterious or shady character was first introduced.

I’m currently reading this ( I know shocker ) and the first male character is shady as heck. I can’t really say anymore, but i will be doing a review so stay tuned!

Beach Sand: pick a book that was grainy, and the plot barely developed.

You can’t judge a book if you haven’t read. A lot of people need to be remember that. I read this book for the first time last year and I wasn’t a fan at all.

Green Grass: pick a character(s) that were full of life, making you smile.

MY BABIES <3!

Watermelon: pick a book that had some juicy secrets.

Those who’ve read it know ….

Sun Hat: pick a book that had a vast, big universe/setting.

The setting was one of my favorite things in this series.

BBQ: pick a book in which a character was portrayed as a hunk.

I couldn’t think of an answer for this.

Summer Fun: pass the tag on.

I TAG ALL OF YOU!

How to….READ MORE!

I know when it comes to reading, it’s something that takes time, which not all readers necessarily have. I usually read 4-5 books a month which is much better than the two books I used to read. So here are a three tips and tricks that I have been doing that help me read more.

1-) READ BEFORE BEDTIME OR RIGHT WHEN YOU GET UP IN THE MORNING.

I have been doing this for the longest time. I usually go to bed 30 minutes to an hour before I need to sleep. I’m not going to lie, but there are some occasions were I read until 5 A.M. because I couldn’t put a book down. If you know your reading a good book I advise you to just get up 15-20 minutes earlier so that doesn’t happen to you.

2-) TAKE A BOOK EVERYWHERE YOU GO AND I MEAN EVERYWHERE

I can’t tell you how many times this saved me from being bored to death. I bring a book literally everywhere I go: school, car (Don’t worry I’m not the one driving), doctor appointments etc. You can squeeze in 5 minutes of reading while waiting fro class to start or while waiting in the waiting room.

3-) AUDIOBOOKS

Although I personally never listen to an audiobook, but I can see how they can be useful. you can listen to them and multitask.

~I hope these tricks help you read more! If you have any tips that I didn’t talk about in this post, make sure to leave it in the comments!
